At VLZS, sustainability is key. We adopt a process-based approach where reuse, recycling and innovative techniques ensure minimal environmental impact. Smart waste management and energy saving<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

VLZS actively works to reduce waste through careful design and procurement. The remaining waste is already separated at source. Our work sites exclusively use LED lighting and electric equipment. Since 2006, our earth-moving machines have been converted from diesel to electric drive, allowing us to work more cleanly and efficiently.<\/p>

In separate processing, we use electric forklifts for waste management and hydraulic equipment that does not cause smoke, fire or odour. Our hydraulic stone and concrete pulveriser works with water atomisation, minimising human and environmental impact.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Whereas traditional demolition companies work with five waste streams, VLZS has expanded this to 50. Because of the way we work, we fit within a circular economy. Materials from demolition go back to producers, meaning no new raw materials have to be mined. This lowers the impact on the environment and helps us conserve natural resources.<\/span><\/p>
