The LAVS is a web application that keeps track of asbestos data during every phase of the asbestos removal chain. In others word, from the asbestos survey up to the landfill.
A new version of the LAVS (Version 4.1) will be released at the end of March. From that moment on, (asbestos) demolition reports can only be submitted online through the Environment Desk (Omgevingsloket). The Environment Desk uses a link to retrieve the necessary information from the LAVS (such as the asbestos survey report).
The demolition notification is then sent from the Environment Desk to the competent authority. The asbestos companies are themselves responsible for registering the required data in the LAVS. Source: lavsinfo.nl 1-3-17
